• Use fluorescent light bulbs – Swapping just 3 of traditional light bulbs to Energy-Save Light bulbs will save you 60% of energy cost and sparing the planet a whipping 300 pounds of carbon dioxide per year!

• Use dishwasher/dryer/washer only when they are full.
• Turn off computer, speaker, electronic if not in use, and unplug your cell phone, Ipod, digital camera chargers!
• Take shorter shower.
• Plant a tree.
• Start recycling and recycle more if you already do so.

at work

• Use recycled paper, and print out emails, documents only when it’s necessary.
• If possible, work remotely. You can connect to your PC remotely via GoToMyPC, or set up virtual meetings via GoToMeeting.
• Carpool or use public transportation. Sharing a ride just twice a week reduces carbon-dioxide emissions by 1,590 pounds per year. Don’t have co-worker live by you? Check out eRideshare.com to meet a new carpooling buddy near you.

on the road

• Change air filter and inflate tires. They not only prevent your car from breaking down, if only 1 percent of car owners maintained their cards will reduce CO2 emission by nearly a billion pounds!
• Financially, this one is a bit more difficult, but at lease seriously consider a hybrid or a fuel-efficient car on your next purchase/lease/trade-in.

• Elect government representatives that actively support reducing Global Warming.

Lean About Live Earth – The Concerts for a Climate in Crisis

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Global Warming, here is the summary version.

• Co2 and greenhouse gas emission traps heat inside earth.


• Causes global temperature to go up each year.


• Warmer ocean water fuels stronger more catastrophic hurricanes such as Katrina, Rita, etc.


• If people continue to produce carbon the way it is right now, more huge chucks of ice in Antarctica and Greenland will melt, which increase tremendous amount of water flow and raise sea level.


• The Result: Potentially wiping out entire islands and major coastal cities, including New York, Shanghai, San Francisco, and many more.

NOTE: This is expected to happen in the next 50 to 100 years, not 500 to 1,000 years.

We find he term “Global Warming” a misleading term with such positive and warming tone. Unfortunately, in reality, if parts of the glacier in Greenland or Antarctica does melt within the next 50 years as scientists have projected, it probably should have been called “Global Flooding”. Or if the earth does get to a point that massive global wild fire burns simultaneously, it would be then called “Global Burning”. Therefore, we hope your would join us and take the very easy steps to prevent such things from happening.
